Pictures/Sunset Boulevard/Corbis via Getty Images While it’s not a Halloween movie per se, 1973’s The Exorcist should top your spooky streaming list on the holiday — according to experts, it is the scariest movie ever made. The website Study Finds pored through reviews of dozens of scary movies from film experts at 10 publications and websites, from Teen Vogue to Rolling Stone to Rotten Tomatoes, and William Friedkin‘s classic came out on top. The fans apparently think so, too: In 2018, a Vudu survey put the film on top of the viewers’ go-to movies for cinematic scares. The Study Finds compilation put the 1978 classic Halloween in second place, with Time Out saying of the Jamie Lee Curtis-led movie, “almost four decades later, it’s still close to flawless.” 2007’s Paranormal Activity was third on the list. The movie that launched a hit franchise was praised for delivering the scares on a low budget. The film “turns a simple haunted house story into 90 minutes of relentle

House Of The Dragon: Every New Dragon That Should Appear In Season 2 And Beyond

Image
The Dance of the Dragons has commenced following the epic season finale of House of the Dragon. The entire series has been a veritable success for HBO as both the season premiere and finale drew groundbreaking viewership, numbers not seen since Game of Thrones. While there were some concerns early on regarding the pacing and jarring time jumps, it clearly didn’t deter interest in seeing dragons soaring and fighting on TV again. Despite early reports from the showrunners that there would only be nine dragons featured in season 1, the finale surprised many, by introducing a tenth, Vermithor to join the likes of Syrax, Caraxes, and Vhagar. In total, there will be seventeen dragons in total throughout the series, so only seven should be coming in the future. However, in Fire & Blood and the text, there are eleven other dragons who take part in the Dance of the Dragons in one way or another. While some like Silverwing and Moondancer have been named outright, others are still lurking, wa

The Bengals make a pair of roster moves ahead of their Week 8 matchup with the Browns. The Cincinnati Bengals have elevated defensive tackle Domenique Davis and wide receiver, Trenton Irwin, from the practice squad to the active roster for tonight’s game vs. the Cleveland Browns. Davis and Irwin are both classified as standard elevations. As practice squad players are being elevated to the active roster, they’ll automatically revert to the practice squad on Tuesday. These moves were made to address injuries at both wide receiver and defensive tackle. At the receiver, the Bengals are without Ja’Marr Chase (hip) and Stanley Morgan (hamstring), so Irwin ensures they’ll have five healthy bodies tonight alongside Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, Mike Thomas, and Trent Taylor. At defensive tackle, DJ Reader is still on IR, and backup Josh Tupou (calf) is out tonight. Depending on how long Tupou, Chase, and Morgan are out, Irwin and/or Davis could also be elevated to the active roster for Week 9 vs.
