Ice-T said goodbye to his longtime 'Law & Order: SVU co-star on social media following news of his passing.

Ice-T is paying tribute to his late friend and co-star, Richard Belzer, whose death was announced over the weekend.

As Parade reported, Belzer died peacefully at his home in Bozouls in southwest France following a battle with several health issues. He was 78.

Following the sad news, Belzer's friends and colleagues have been memorializing the late actor and comedian, including his longtime TV partner in crime on Law & Order: SVU.

Ice-T, whose Detective Fin Tutuola was partnered with Belzer’s Detective John Munch on the long-running crime series, shared a photo to social media on Sunday, Feb. 19, to send a special message to his friend.

"Highs and Lows...After one of the most amazing weeks of my life. I wake up to the news I lost my friend today," wrote the rapper and actor, who was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame just days prior.

"Belz is gone...Da*n it!" he continued, while telling his followers, "But remember this..'When you ARE having real fun and are Truly Happy. ENJOY it to the fullest! Cause Pain is inevitably coming.'"

"I'll miss you homie 🙏," he added, alongside a photo of the pair on the set of SVU.

Ice-T isn't the only actor from the Law & Order franchise to share a tribute for Belzer, as Mariska Hargitay also penned a touching social media message.

"Goodbye my dear, dear friend. I will miss you, your unique light, and your singular take on this strange world," Hargitay, 59, wrote on Instagram. "I feel blessed to have known you and adored you and worked with you, side by side, for so many years. How lucky the angels are to have you. I can hear them laughing already."

"I love you so very much, now and forever," she added.
